COMMUNITY MEALS
Many of the local churches and organizations are hosting Community Breakfasts, Lunches, and Suppers:

Wednesday, March 9th - Luncheon at Anglican Church
Thursday, March 10th - Luncheon at Salvation Army
Friday, March 11th -Luncheon at Labrador Friendship Centre
Friday, March 11th - Fine Dining Gala in North West River at Community Centre
Saturday, March 12th - *NEW* Luncheon at Masonic Lodge, hosted by MADD Canada
 
ADULT EVENTS (19 Years of age and older)
SnoBreak FINALE: At Maxwell's Sports Bar. Starting at 10:00 pm. Enjoy great live music and entertainment during the wrap-up of SnoBreak 2011 at Maxwell's Sports Bar. Prize draws and the Button draw for Trip for Two on PAL/Innu Mikun Airlines. *Advance Tickets are available now at the Visitor Information Center*

DINNER and ENTERTAINMENT at North West River Spring Gala - Come out and enjoy a fun-filled "Hollywood Themed" evening of entertainment consisting of theatre and live music, and delicious 4 course meal! The Menu consists of; Appetizers (cheddar & grape bites, smoked char canapes, corn & black bean salsa, pork dumplings), Soup (seafood chowder), Entree (pork tenderloin & whisky apple chutney, potabello pilaf and dressed greens), and Dessert (fresh fruit & dainties). There will be a trophy awarded to the "Best Dressed" couple on the Red Carpet! Smart Dress required, event Starts at 6:00pm at the North West River Community Center. Tickets are $40 each (or $200/table of 6). Or attend the dance after the Gala for $10! *Tickets available now at the Visitor Information Center*, bussing will be provided to and from the event thanks to Serco!
 
HOCKEY
3 ON 3 Outdoor Shinny Hockey Tournament, has been CANCELLED due to low registration! located on an outdoor rink next to the arena. This new event will be held outdoors in a rink created by the Town Recreation Staff. Details available from Kevin Lane,Town Recreation Director, at the arena.

The Trapper's Cup (a friendly competition between North West River and Goose Bay) held at the EJ Broomfield Memorial Arena. This event is hosted by the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Extreme Minor Hockey and the Snow Flake Figure Skating Club.

PETS
The K9 Talent and Glamour Show is a chance for you to show off your pooch! SnoDog CONTEST!! Enter your pet in this photo contest, or vote for your favourite SnoDog.
 
FAMILY FUN
The Family Toboggan Party is always lots of fun. Held at Johnny Hill (off Cabot Crescent), FREE hot chocolate and hotdogs for everyone! This event is organized by the SnoBreak Committee.

Ice Carving
Bring the family and try your hand at ice carving. We supply the ice and tools. Master Carver Steve Watson will be on hand to show you the tricks of this art. Ice sculptures will be located on the arena grounds.

TREASURE HUNTERS
Geocaching is like treasure hunting with a GPS, and we have included this very new sport in the SnoBreak Schedule for the second year. We have designed a PUZZLE cache with a SnoBreak Geocoin for first finder. Details will be revealed during SnoBreak.
 
SNOWMOBILING
Join us for a snowmobile ride to Mud Lake and Muldoon Point. There will be warm up tents, holes will be cut, and lots of food including toutons with jam, and soup! Yummy! This trail ride is possible because of the kind assistance of the Department of Natural Resources.
Pre-registration at the SnoBreak office is mandatory for this event! Registration Deadline is Sunday, March 6th before 4pm!!

*The Trail Ride to Peter's Falls is CANCELLED due to poor trail conditions*
 
SKATING
Figure Skating demonstrations will be provided by the Snowflake Skating Club before the Trapper's Cup Hockey Challenge.

Free Family Skate will be held at the E.J Broomfeild Memorial Arena on Sunday, March 6th from 7:00pm-8:00pm. And again on Friday, March 11th from 8:00pm-9:00pm.
