Thursday March 25th
The community lunch today was held at the Salvation Army. The very friendly and hard-working staff served us baked beans, toutons, tea/coffee, and fruit salad for dessert. It was really tasty and I was stuffed to the gills when I left.
The King and Queen were there to serve lunch and chat with everybody there as they have been doing all week. They are a very friendly and personable couple who love to socialize with everyone.
I had alot of fun at the Turkey Curling Event, as did everyone who attended I believe. There was medals and turkeys and chickens given to the top scoring curlers. And there was alot of really nice door prizes drawn! The whole Royal Family attended this event. The Queen even curled a turkey right on the button! Way to go Donna!
Thanks to everyone at the Salvation Army for giving us a great meal, to the staff at the Curling Club for showing everyone a great time, and the King, Queen, and Baby for showing their support.

Friday March 26th
The Charity Pancake Breakfast at the College of the North Atlantic this morning was a really great way to start the day. There was pancakes, sausages, juice, tea/coffee served to you by the college teaching staff and the Royal Couple. The CNA mascot "Nanuk" even made a special appearance!
The Royal couple "Joe and Donna" are alway's on the go, after leaving the college they paid the children at Peacock Primary School a visit to deliver them some stickers and colouring sheets. They also attended the Spring Gala, greeting guests and chatting with the sold out crowd.
The North West River Spring Gala at the NWR community center was a wonderful event. Katherine (a Katimavik participant) provided lovely background music during the cocktail hour. Then the Michelin sisters, Selby Mesher, the Drum Dancers and Katherine Baikie Pottle entertained us during the gourmet meal. Menu included bacon wrapped waterchestnuts, devilled eggs and sausage bites for appaetizers, a salad with crab stuffed tomato and balsamic vinegar, caribou bourgonione with whipped potatoes with mushrooms, and a partrigeberry sundae for dessert. Yummy! The dance music was provided by the Northernaires!
Thank you to everyone at the College for cooking and serving us our yummy breakfast and supper. And to the King and Queen for serving us, and SnoBaby for attending.
See you all at tomorrow night at the Finale at Maxwell's!

The SnoBreak Finale at Maxwells/Bentley's was a HUGE success! It was a full house and the live entertainment (Richard Neville, The Jacinda Beals Band, and Smoke House) was awesome! I had a great time! Bud Lite Lime was on special for $2 a beer all night.
There was two great ice sculptures made by Hollis Yetman on display at the shooter bar. The grand prize trip for two on PAL was drawn that night by the lovely Jacinda Beals, and the lucky winner turned out to be Smoke House band member Harry Lucci!
Thank You to Maxwells/Bentley's and all their staff for hosting such a great event, and sponsor Bud Lite Lime. Also the entertainment; Richard Neville, Jacinda Beals Band, and Smoke House. And PAL/Innu Mikun Airlines for donating the Grand Prize.
